The classroom experience is the primary way to build relationships with kids as we share the love of Christ through biblical teaching and real-life application. All materials prepped and provided for you. We think and play like kids so Team Members invest in kids through silly games, class discussions, prayer and awesome conversation. If you enjoy hanging out with kids, this is the spot for you!
This ministry is focused on meeting the care needs of our CH congregational family: writing a prayer card, preparing a meal, making a phone call or visit to home or hospital, helping w/ errands, driving to church or an appointment. Your involvement can be based on the time you have available and how you believe the Holy Spirit is calling you to help.
At Cedar Hills sharing our stories and learning from one another is where health and healing occurs. If you love to using visual arts like cinematography, video editing, sound engineering, and graphic design to tell and share stories this is an incrediblde place to share and grow your giftings.
We are looking for a team member who is passionate about well-created audio, sound, and music! We know that audio/music has a unique way of transcending words and feelings and we know that well-built audio helps to minimize distractions as we create environments for people to connect with Jesus and with each other. We have a tight group of team members doing life together and creating phenomenal audio week after week. If you have a passion or skill for audio, are teachable and ready to learn, we’d love to talk more with you about stepping onto our Sound Team!
Lead or host a group here at Cedar Hills, either in your home, or online. There are a variety of groups that can be led; Rooted (a group that connects people to God, the Church, and their purpose), Series Groups that follow the Sunday talks, books of the Bible, topical studies and much more.
KidsConnect Team members are all about smiles and friendly greetings. We get to welcome children and families into Cedar Point and assist with check-in and check-out, answer questions, provide help and additional safety supervision necessary. If you like people, this is your spot!
We’re reaching people where they’re at—on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts—and we'd love your creativity to help us get there. If you’ve got skills in video, photography, love being on socials, and enjoy sparking conversations, this is your chance to make an impact. Join us in sharing stories of hope and sharing answers to life's toughest questions.
Our teams get to work with graphic display, video design, lighting, audio, and other creative areas of our auditorium gathering experience. If you are interested in bringing your creative production skills to the gatherings, we want to talk with you!
Share handshakes, smiles and high-fives, provide programs, assist guests in finding rooms, staff information, help people find seats and meet needs on the spot. This is an easy position to jump in on, and provides a great impact!

Our band team designs musical worship experiences and leads musical worship during our gatherings. If you are a musician or vocalist, we want to talk with you about a possible fit with our team!

A Safety Team member at Cedar Hills Church is a dedicated volunteer equipped to respond to a range of safety and security situations, from minor incidents to natural disasters or de-escalation needs. These individuals undergo background checks, receive specialized training, and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality while representing both the congregation and the Lord through their service. They are committed to upholding behavioral guidelines, ensuring the safety of all attendees, and working collaboratively to manage emergencies.
A Snow Event Team member is responsible for ensuring clear and safe walkways for all church events, Monday through Sunday. This includes diligently removing snow and applying de-icer as needed to prevent icy conditions. On Sundays, their duties include ensuring pathways are clear before volunteers and congregants arrive.
An IT Team volunteer plays a crucial role in maintaining the church's technological infrastructure. They are responsible for ensuring the network is secure and properly configured, while also troubleshooting software and hardware issues as they arise. This vital role also involves offering expert advice on IT best practices and assisting with the setup of new technologies to support the church's evolving needs.
Our church's Data Analytics Volunteers bring our data to life, helping us be better stewards of the resources God has provided. This role involves visualizing our existing databases and connecting new ones as needed. Their work provides valuable insights, allowing us to make informed decisions and optimize our ministries.
Our administrative team is vital in supporting our church's operations, ensuring smooth execution of events like baptisms and Serve Day. They provide essential office coverage by answering phones and greeting visitors when the administrator is away. This team also keeps our facilities ready for use, including restocking chairs in the auditorium.

Got something to say and a heart to see students grow? Speaking Team Members bring 15–20 minutes of meaningful, biblical teaching to the table, connecting with middle and high schoolers in ways that are real, honest, and full of life. You’ll work with the Student Life Director to align your message with the night’s theme and purpose. Teaching content is submitted in advance and should hit that sweet spot between scriptural truth and cultural relevance.

Be part of the first few minutes that matter most. Check-In Volunteers keep things running smooth—managing iPads, welcoming students, collecting new student forms, and making sure allergy and contact info is locked in. Band Musician

Full Sunday morning, 1 - 3 times per month. Tuesday evening rehearsal, on the week you serve. During gatherings, our musicians provide musical layers as we lead our church in musical worship experiences. They come alongside our vocalists to ensure attendees are led well into encounters with Jesus. Beyond solely playing an instrument, they model what expression looks like in our gatherings, offer supportive suggestions to our RED vocalist and Music Director, and look for ways to serve our church with their talents and giftings. ProPresenter Operator

Full Sunday morning, 1-3 times per month. The ProPresenter Team is a passionate team of presentation operators as they
engage people with visual experiences. This team collaborates with various
serving teams for text and media layer display. They have a great pulse on creative visual
layouts and understands how they can impact a moment. They help operate and display any visual content on screens from song lyrics and scripture to videos and marketing assets. LivePro Camera Operator

Full Sunday morning, 1-3 times per month. Do you love to help others experience the act of worshipping through the visual experience? The LIVE Camera Operator uses various camera systems for live display, video streaming, and capture. We get to serve both in-person participants as well as our Online community. We get to everything that is displayed from camera feeds. This role requires adaptability, agility, the ability to learn, listening to verbal cues, and collaboration to find quick solutions.

LivePro Lighting Operator

Full Sunday morning, 1-3 times per month. The Lighting Team is a passionate team of Lighting Operators and designers as they engage people with visual experiences. Not only do they operate lighting fixtures more importantly they provide well illuminated moments and gathering elements. Operators will understand how lighting can boost the impact of a visual story. Audio Operator

Full Sunday morning, 1-3 times per month. The Audio Team is a passionate group of Audio Operators as they engage people with well mixed/leveled audio experiences during the gatherings. Once trained audio operators ensure all the sounds in our gathering facilitate engagement of gathering attendees from the band to speakers and media. They have a great pulse on effective audio practices and readily seek to improve mediocre systems and audio imaging. Ongoing training opportunities will be provided throughout the year. Band Vocalist

Full Sunday morning, 1-3 times per month. Tuesday evening rehearsal, on the week you serve. During gatherings, our Background Vocalists partner in singing to lead our church in musical worship experiences. They come alongside our RED vocalist and musicians to ensure attendees are led well into encounters with Jesus. In addition to singing, they model what expression looks like in our gatherings, offer supportive suggestions to our RED vocalist and Music Director, and look for ways to serve our church with their talents and giftings. This role is on the front lines, going first to participate and lead our gathering in transformational musical worship experiences.
