Stitching Love Into Every Thread: Join the Sandpoint Quilter’s Group

Looking for a way to use your creativity to make a real difference in North Idaho? The Quilter’s Group at Cedar Hills in Sandpoint brings together people who love sewing, stitching, and serving—creating beautiful, handmade quilts for local nonprofits and individuals who need a little extra warmth and care.

What This Group Offers:
Led by Betsy Miller and Marti Ashford, this ongoing group meets at Cedar Hills Church in the Cedar Point classroom. Together, we stitch quilts that are donated to nonprofit organizations and community members facing challenging circumstances. It’s a relaxed, friendly environment where you can grow your skills, meet others, and contribute to something that matters.

You don’t have to be an expert—just willing to jump in, learn, and lend your hands (and heart) to the work.

Who It’s For:
If you’re someone who enjoys sewing or would like to learn in a low-pressure, welcoming space, this group is for you. It’s also perfect for those looking for a tangible way to give back to the community. Whether you’ve quilted for years or are just curious, this is a place where your creativity and compassion meet.

At Cedar Hills, we’re a church for the spiritually curious—and this group reflects that spirit of kindness, connection, and purpose.
