Decades Potluck

Generational connection is important, yet many of us live far from family, struggle to travel or have strained relationships. Spiritual family is intergenerational too! We’re excited for our ‘Decades Potluck’ for all ages. Come experience generational connection for your family. It’s easy! Just bring a dish, share a meal, meet others and we’ll continue to repeat throughout the year. Let's Eat!

For Sandpoint

Cedar Hills Church is for Sandpoint and this community!

On the morning of Sunday, July 28th, instead of our usual 8am, 9:30am, and 11 am gatherings in our building, we hope to have over 300 people gather in groups all around our community to serve doing yard work, small projects, and clean-up. We have done various projects in the past, from building play structures for schools to cleaning up community gardens to assisting the Food Bank.

We want to express our love and appreciation to this community and the surrounding area, so we will have teams of all ages serving Sandpoint, Ponderay, and Kootenai.

Quilter's Group

Come connect with fellow quilters who love to make projects for community groups and individuals.

Ladies' Coffee

We meet for coffee, food, and connection. Feel free to bring a friend!

Homeschool Family Hangout

Are you a Homeschooling family looking for winter fun for your kids? Interested in building community and relationships with other Homeschoolers attending Cedar Hills? The Homeschool Family Hangout on Mondays might be a perfect opportunity for you and your kids then to get to know other families that you pass in service each week and may not even realize are looking for the same thing. Why not invest a small part of your week with us while staying warm this winter with indoor fun for all and see how the bonds of friendship can grow when you give a little time and space for it.

Handwork Group

You're invited to join this monthly group where we enjoy friendships, make new friends and create little handwork (knitting, crocheting, etc.). We'll have needles, yarn and easy patterns available for newcomers but please bring your own materials if you have them.

MOPS

Join us each month as we celebrate motherhood together. We will be meeting on the 3rd Friday of every month from 6-8pm at Cedar Hills. We will have hors d'oeuvres/snacks and drinks, watch some videos or a speaker, have some discussion, do a craft or activity and best of all fellowship and make friends! 

This is an event for Moms, a chance to get some time away. Click below for childcare info.

Watercolors Group

Together we will build friendships, share a devotional thought, and explore our creative side through painting with watercolors. 

After sign up, an email will be sent with recommended supplies. We will have a minimal amount of supplies available for first time painters, and anyone who may need them.

Series Talk Discussion Groups

We will be using the weekly sermon study notes for our meetings.

Financial Peace University Opportunity

FPU is the nine-week online class that teaches you step by step how to beat debt, build wealth, and take control of your money—once and for all!

This class is $79.99 and Cedar Hills will reimburse your full enrollment fee if you complete the class and present your completion certificate by May 1. 

Conqueror's Men's Group

The Conqueror Series is a video facilitated educational group. Here men can learn about the dangers of our sexualized society, educate themselves on the meaning of sexual health, discover their own possible liabilities, and become a healthy model for their children. Take a look!

Men's Group, Road to Emmaus

We're gathering a bunch of men who want to get closer to God through reading, understanding and conversation with other men. We'll start with the beginning of Genesis and then work through a book or two of the New Testament that doesn't get a lot of hype.

Outdoor Activities & Social Groups

A group open to men and women who are looking to build community through being active in the outdoors and perhaps in the community. This is an open group to share activity ideas and interests.

There will be an informational meeting Tuesday April 16th, 2024 at Cedar Hills in the Tamarack Lobby from 6pm - 7pm with light appetizers included.
