Serve Day: Firewood for Veterans – May 24 in Sandpoint, ID

Cedar Hills is partnering with the local VFW in Sandpoint, Idaho for a hands-on Serve Day with one purpose: to honor and care for the veterans in our community. On Saturday, May 24 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we’re gathering to cut, split, and stack firewood that will be provided free of charge to local veterans and their families.

This is hard work with a heartfelt purpose. If you're ready to serve shoulder-to-shoulder with others, this is a powerful way to live out your faith and gratitude.

This isn’t just about firewood—it’s about showing up for the people who’ve sacrificed so much. It’s a physical expression of love and gratitude to the veterans right here in our Sandpoint community.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILIES WELCOME

We love seeing families serve together. Kids are welcome to be part of the day with the following guidelines to ensure safety for everyone:

Include all children in your registration count

Kids must remain under direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times

Because this is an active woodcutting environment, children should stay close to their adult and avoid equipment areas

This is a great way to model service, hard work, and gratitude together.
