Eric Rust, lead pastor
| Eric & Nicole have served as our pastors since they started Cedar Hills Church in 2001. Eric grew up in central California, and met Nicole while studying at Northwest University (Seattle, WA). Nicole grew up in Sandpoint, and they married here in the summer of 1994. After serving as student pastors in central California for 6 years, they felt God leading them to Sandpoint to start a church for those who had no church. Serving as pastors of CHC—leading, teaching, and loving this church is one of their greatest passions. Colin Moody, pastor

Colin attended the very first pre-launch meeting of Cedar Hills in 2001, signed on as a volunteer, and joined the staff in 2002. Colin leads a team that helps people engage in service, partners with Eric in staff and volunteer leadership development, and serves on the teaching team. Colin’s a morning person—his life group meets at 6 a.m. on Monday mornings for Bible reading and caffeine. Weston Grillo, pastor
| Weston joined the team in late 2012. He grew up in Central California just south of Yosemite National Park. Kim, was born and raised in central Canada. They were married in the spring of 2006 and have 3 children, Lucca, Olivia (Oli), and Seth. Weston and Kim met while they were serving with Youth With A Mission, Denver. In YWAM they served in different traveling ministries and attended numerous short-term equipping schools. Before coming to Cedar Hills, Weston spent 6 years as a music director for a church plant in Central California. Developing teams in creating atmospheres for experiencing Jesus through music and media, as well as trained and equipped musicians and leaders to use their talents, gifts and skills. The Grillos enjoy snowboarding, camping, food, photography and videography, building, music, and movies.

Christine Denova, reach initiative leader
| Christine moved to Sandpoint from Chicago in July of 2006. She, her husband Ron and son Cal began attending Cedar Hills in August and knew immediately they were home. Christine joined the staff in March of 2008 as the gathering team leader, where she worked with the band, tech, creative and teaching team to coordinate and produce the Sunday gatherings. In 2013 Christine transitioned to the Reach Initiative Leader where she leads a team to motivate, equip, and provide opportunities to share Christ with others. Christine and Ron lead a marriage ministry and are each life group leaders. Their son Cal is the guitarist in The Other, the Cedar Hills youth band. Alyssa McLaughlin, connection ministry/bookkeeper
| Alyssa and her husband Casey have been a part of Cedar Hills since 2005. Together they have three children, Libby, Chase, and Israel. Alyssa has been the bookkeeper for Cedar Hills for 5 years, and recently has expanded her role into the Connection Ministry, helping people get connected to others within Cedar Hills. She is also actively involved with the Life Group Leadership Team and Look Design Team here at Cedar Hills. She was born and raised here in Sandpoint. Tami Heather, office administrator

Tami joined our team in the fall of 2011. You can find her at the CHC office Monday through Thursday greeting and assisting guests, preparing Sunday programs, and supporting the staff. She and her husband, Wayne, moved here from Wyoming. They fell in love with the lake while vacationing and continue to enjoy fishing, camping, boating, and hanging out with their daughter and their three grandkids! Evelyn Raebel, student life leader
| Evelyn leads our 7th-12th grade student life ministry team. She has been volunteering in student ministry since 2006 and has been on staff with us since 2010. Evelyn is married to Alan, who serves on the student life team while working for Burlington Northern Railroad. They enjoy being with students and leaders and are thankful to be able to give back. Cyndy Hernandez, children’s ministry team leader

Cyndy was born and raised in southern California by parents whose lives modeled what it means to love God with all your heart. Cyndy’s passion is to pass that baton of love on to the families of Cedar Hills and to the volunteers that are committed to that end. She received her B.A. in English at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
